At Canadian Fertilizers Limited, our highest priorities are the safety
and well-being of our employees and the Medicine Hat Community.
To help achieve those priorities, the company focuses on two equally
important areas:
- First, maintaining a high level of emergency response
preparedness and capability, to limit potential incidents and address any that
do develop quickly and safely.
- Second, maintaining a high level of community awareness,
to help assure that, in the event of an incident, public safety
officials and the community itself have the information and expertise
they need to respond effectively to protect the public.
To coordinate these important efforts, CFL has established its Community Awareness &
Emergency Response (CAER) program.
